In appreciation of the support I received for my trip to Natural Doctors International on the island of Ometepe, Nicaragua I highlighted something of their choice on my website. This could have been a company that they own or are involved in, a charity that they support, or themselves as individuals. Take a look below to see my supporters!
My Fit Kitchen
I first met Tracey when I was working as a strength and conditioning coach at Innovative Fitness in Langley. I had the opportunity to train her, her husband and son during my time at IF. She is an avid golfer and health enthusiast who has launched a website called My Fit Kitchen in which she works with clients to improve the function and beauty of their homes. Not only that, she adds a healthful twist as she becomes certified in Health & Nutrition coaching. Tracey also plans on building a brand of organic natural food products. Thank you so very much Tracey for your support of both myself and NDI!

Since 1972, Mud Bay Drilling Co. Ltd. has developed dedicated, experienced staff in Geotechnical and Environmental drilling applications. Now with two locations in Port Kells and Kelowna, Mud Bay Drilling is committed to providing leading service in geotechnical and environmental services such as soil sampling and monitoring well installation. Additionally, from driving me to school, to attending every basketball and volleyball game, to teaching me life skills that have made me who I am and to supporting most of my crazy ideas thus far, this thank you goes out to the owners of Mud Bay Drilling who just happen to be my parents, Gordon and Barbi Gibbons.
Thank you so much for such a strong support of my trip to Natural Doctors International and my endeavours to become a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine!
Pure Form Physiotherapy
Pure Form Physiotherapy is a solid, reliable physiotherapy clinic that offers a very wide array of treatments focusing on physical rehabilitation through exercise, manual therapy, and intramuscular stimulation. I have personally seen great success in Dan's patients while working in the same facility as him. His busy Langley clinic is steadily growing and I will be sure to refer patients to him when the time comes!
A huge thank you goes out to Dan, Arleigh, Mya, and Cole for supporting my adventure to Nicaragua, being great cycling partners, and just straight up being such great friends.
Also, Congratulations to Pure Form Physiotherapy on locking down a new location in Langley on 72nd Ave and 200th St! For Contact information for Pure Form Physiotherapy please click HERE!
The Skinner Family
Lou, Hugh, Jake, Ben, Emily
For as long as I can remember, the Skinner family has lived across the road from us. When I asked Lou if there was anything I could do for them on my website, she said she wanted to write something about me. What comes next, I didn't expect.
I have known Rory since he was a charming three year old who still thought that the tooth fairy wouldn't come if he didn't believe (according to his mom). Over the years it has been a pleasure to watch him grow into a productive and compassionate world citizen who lives his life according to his values, like his wonderful grandfather, Gerry. Like Rory and his family, I believe that we can have a positive impact on others' lives through our jobs and volunteer activities. I feel fortunate to have been a part of Rory's family and community.
Thank you for the kind words and thank you so much for your support!

Andrew is a close personal friend of mine and is a Vancouver based photographer who specializes in one thing, capturing images of people in love. His photography has been featured in WedLuxe magazine and if you check out the link then you will see why. He does a great job of keeping his sessions simple with bright, timeless images and will pretty much say yes to any request! He has an option for a photo booth with which your guests can have fun and make memories too. Luminessence not only photographs weddings but does engagement and couple photography as well. If you are looking for a simple experience, focused on you then he is the man to talk to. Check out his website www.luminessencephoto.ca for contact info, blog, and pricing options.

Barbi is a Fine Art student at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and a Photographer/Visual artist, whose pieces of work are in personal collections in Canada. Last year in fundraising for the Ride to Conquer Cancer, Barbi donated 50% of sales of her Italian Fine Art Collection at Giobean, The Grand Hotel, Okanagan to the Brain and Central Nervous System Unit. Working locally as an Industrial Photographer for Mud Bay Drilling company, opportunities have arisen to support New York based Charity:Water, a company helping to supply fresh water to impoverished areas in the world. Barbi strives to connect with reflections of the environmental and humanitarian aspects of the world. Check out some of Barbi's photos below and check Instagram and Facebook for more really cool art!
I would also like to point out that Barbi is also my mum and that she has been an incredible supporter of my ambitions as a Naturopathic Doctor.
